THERAPIST - Telehealth

Arkansas: LMFT, LPC, MA, EMDR

Tennessee: LMFT, MA, EMDR

Since 2016, Cory has been working with adolescents, adults, couples & families at the professional level. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Arkansas & Tennessee. She received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta. While in her Masters program, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Christian Sex Therapy. She is a Certified Sex Therapist (CST) through the American Board of Christian Sex Therapy, is EMDR trained, and has over 120 hours of certified trauma training.

Cory has worked with clients in all stages of life, but is passionate about working with couples, adolescents, and relationship dynamics. She has experience in out-patient settings and has also worked extensively with families at the residential level within a Treatment Center. She has experience doing significant trauma work with clients as they learn to overcome behavioral issues, depression/anxiety, eating disorders, substance addiction/abuse, marital issues, grief, divorce, and sexual abuse. Cory also greatly enjoys working with couples while they navigate issues ranging from emerging from the newlywed bubble to learning to live life as empty nesters and everything in between.

Cory’s philosophy of counseling is to see each person within the system they are living. Each client is not just an individual, they are a daughter, husband, wife, employer, teammate, and so many other things. Cory seeks to look at each person holistically in order to encompass all they are and can be. She seeks to help people walk through the brokenness in order to find out what their healthiest life can look like. Life is constantly changing and throwing us curveballs, and she considers it an honor to walk with people as they find their resilience and peace through healing.
